It was a horrible driech day on Skye today, I managed to get a walk along the Marble Line Path. I usually listen to my iPod set on Traditional Music. You can always tell when I am listening to a good reel, as my pace quickens! When I came back from my walk there were wonderful smells coming from our kitchen. As usual Andy was working his magic, he had made me a delicious dinner of prawn fried rice with a satay sauce, it was yummy. Tomorrow is our roast dinner day, roast pork with Andy’s special cider gravy, followed by miracle pudding, it is like a lemon curd souffle. Skye is certainly a place for fine dining, we have some of the best restaurants in the world! Many of our guests come especially to go to Three Chimneys Restaurant at Colbost near Dunvegan. You don’t have to always travel so far, we have some great restaurants in Broadford like the Red Skye Restaurant with the supremely talented John Brown at the stove!
